Literature Citroën 2CV: Anton Wolfpril Entengeschichten
In 2020, the renowned publishing house Buch&Motor Jan Eggermann - garage2cv.de published my first collection Citroën 2CV Books of duck stories by Anton Wolfpril.
The second volume has now been published in summer 2026 and was the subject of its premiere reading on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the 11th International German Meeting of Friends of the Citroën 2CV in D-24848 Kropp, Schleswig-Holstein, 120km northeast of Hamburg.
Anton Wolfpril is currently conducting research for a crime novel he has already completed, in which the legendary Citroën 2CV plays a central role, a Facel Vega a secondary role, and Inspector Rainer zu Phal – whom we already know – a significant role. It is a crime comedy, or what is known as a ‘cosy crime’.
The duck stories are tales full of colourful adventures – and some very colourful ones at that. They’re not DIY tips – for that, I’d recommend the relevant literature – no, they’re stories for everyone about the Citroën 2CV and the Wolfpril family, whom my hero Anton loves dearly. Despite his love of freedom, which sometimes leads to conflicts within the family.
